You can take the Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus from DIA to Boulder (Route AB1). The route makes several stops in Boulder. Buses leave approximately every 60 minutes from the airport, typically 15-min after each hour. Buses are accessed from the WEST side of the airport, below the Westin Hotel. Take the long escalator down to the bus terminal. You can buy a ticket ($10.50 one way) at a kiosk or via the RTD app. The schedule and route information can be found on RTD's website (select Route AB/AB1/AB2). If staying at the Homewood Suites on Baseline Road, get off at the Table Mesa Park and Ride station and walk 15-min along Thunderbird Drive to arrive at Homewood Suites.

Booking a Super Shuttle is another great option.

For other things to do and see in Boulder, see our city website HERE.
The Weather & Altitude
Coloradans like to say, "If you are tired of the weather, just wait 20 minutes." The weather can change without notice, so please be prepared. Dress in layers and have rain gear in your backpack when hiking. Summer can bring very hot and dry weather with afternoon or evening showers and thunder storms (some being severe, including hail). It is usually cool at night and light jackets may be necessary when hiking.
Boulder is at 5430 feet (1655 meters) above sea level. At this elevation it is important to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen and sunglasses. If you are coming from lower elevation, it is likely you will notice the effect of the altitude. Some people experience headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, and/or general fatigue. It is advised to drink plenty of water, especially in the week leading up to arrival, when you arrive, and throughout your stay.
